Oil based, slow drying Paint

Oils are a traditional painting medium that offer rich colours and stiff textures. They take longer to dry then acrylics which means less waste on the palette and longer open time for blending. Often thought of as a more toxic medium, recent oil painting practices have shifted away from the harsher turps and other spirits and moved towards more solvent free practices and/or replacing solvents with healthier alternatives.
