Goat and Hake

Goat Hair brushes hold quite a bit of water and are ideal for large area washes, sumi ink and encaustic painting (since the bristles won't scorch).

Bamboo Brushes are a combination of horse and goat hair although they don't come to a super fine point they are ideal for sumi ink painting.
